Helen Levitt started photography career in the late 1930s. She wandered the streets of New York City, uncovering secret worlds among the sidewalks. Her early work revolved around children at play. Overall she is know for her street photography. Levitt's work in color reminds me of William Eggleston's eye toward color. Below are a few of my favorite photographs by Levitt.
